Located in the heart of Waimea, just minutes away from shops and fine dining, Waimea Place is on the slopes of 'Buster Browns', a prominent mountain landmark.  Bordering one side of the property is a 50 acre ranch called Halekea Farms with thousands of acres of pasture land owned by Parker Ranch on the other side.

Waimea Place is a gracious Hawaiian-style home that provides the perfect island living retreat on the Big Island.  This 2,000 sq.ft. architectural home with unique features and fabulous views offers you every modern convenience. The private terrace is beautifully landscaped with tropical plants and has a private jacuzzi and outdoor shower.

The entrance is through a grand lanai (outdoor room) which can be used for entertaining, outdoor eating or just for relaxing while looking at the amazing view. There is a cozy fireplace in the living room with a high ceder ceiling that opens up to the lanai deck.

There is a full kitchen with all modern appliances and a separate dining area with seating for eight guests.
The house is very private without being isolated--just ten minutes away from the best beaches called the 'Kohala Coast' or "Gold coast". The Volcano National Park with active flowing lava is 2 hours away. Hiking, tennis, golf, biking, horseback riding, etc., are all available close by. You can also try surfing, windsurfing, kayaks/canoes, fishing, diving, snorkling, etc., just 10 minutes down to the beach.
