Kahi Malu is a newly refurbished private cottage on a quiet one-lane road in Volcano Village adjacent to the owners' home.

While ideally suited for couples, the cottage can comfortably accommodate a family of five in its two separate bedrooms (one king-bedded; one queen-bedded) and a futon couch in the living room.

Koa wood floors throughout are accented by Egyptian-loomed area rugs. Lovely furnishings and lush landscaping offer a restful home base from which guests may explore nearby Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park.

The built-in living room entertainment unit houses a TV (on cable) and VCR, as well as a mini stereo, plus movie videotapes and music CDs and cassettes.

The master bedroom has a very comfortable king-sized bed, with built-in headboard and side tables. There is a bedside phone. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed with built-in head board and side tables.
